Practically any computer-based application or task may be captured for delivery in a clip. Our clips include full-motion video and high quality audio narration.
In the YouTube society we live in, attention spans are short. We suggest limiting computer-based training clips to between three to five minutes.
Various factors come in to play when determining the cost of a custom clip project, but the price ranges from $500 to $1200/clip. Contact us for a precise quote on your project.
The format depends on the delivery requirements of each client. For example, if clips are to be viewed in a browser, we suggest Flash (.SWF or .FLV). Other options are available, including Windows Media (.WMV), QuickTime (.MOV), and/or .AVI for CD-based delivery.
Are your custom clips SCORM-compliant?
Not directly. SCORM requires, among other things, a quiz or an assessment of some type. Our clips do not include any such testing. Having said that, many clients choose to purchase our clips as raw content to be included in a SCORM-compliant wrapper such as Adobe Captivate or Trivantis Lectora.
Generally clips are delivered to a client on CD-ROM or DVD and are hosted on the organization's own server. We do not offer hosting services for custom video clips.
No. In most cases we can capture the video via a web browser using remote control software or VPN access.
Good question. Please read about our process where we answer questions like this in greater detail.
Clips made with Camtasia software create a "let-me-show-you-how" style video. Clips created with Adobe Captivate can create a "let-me-show-you-how" and "now-you-try-it" type of training module. We do both.
Do you any sample clips we can view?
Tons of them. Check them out here.
Will you accept Purchase Orders?
Of course. We also accept leading credit cards, PayPal and other options.
Each clip project is created with the idea changes may be needed in the future. Modifications can be made with minimal cost.
We produce most clips using Camtasia software. If you own Camtasia, you can modify the clips on your own.
